About US

The Founder

I started Luminosa Vida during a season of rebuilding. After relocating from the Pacific Northwest to Austin, I found myself searching for small rituals that brought calm back into my home. Lighting a candle became one of them.

When I realized how few brands were transparent about their ingredients, especially for those of us with pets, I started making my own. What began as a personal ritual became Luminosa Vida.

I am Yill, a first-generation Latina, a maker by night, and the founder of this brand. My cavapoo Kobe has been my quality control partner from the beginning. Kiwi, my rescued Maltese, joined us after being found injured and abandoned, and reminded me all over again why clean, safe ingredients in every home matter.

Bought this spray in-person in November when I was in Austin. The seller was so kind, I had to try her product. Honestly, I wish I bought more! The scent lasts for DAYS. Nothing I've ever purchased has ever done that for me. It's so powerful that just two spritzes fill other parts of my house. My Pura can't even do that. This candle is one of my favorites from Luminosa Vida, I had to immediately get another for a Christmas gift and they loved it as well. Not just the smell is amazing, it is also non toxic and fees very luxurious. Highly recommend all candles from this company as they are made with love and you can feel good about buying clean, woman owned and local.

I absolutely love this room and linen mist spray! I sprayed my bed linens and comforter, and my bedroom smelled beautiful for a full two days. The scent is so well balanced and long lasting without being overwhelming. You can truly tell the quality the moment you use it.
