About US

The Founder

I started Luminosa Vida during a season of rebuilding. After relocating from the Pacific Northwest to Austin, I found myself searching for small rituals that brought calm back into my home. Lighting a candle became one of them.

When I realized how few brands were transparent about their ingredients, especially for those of us with pets, I started making my own. What began as a personal ritual became Luminosa Vida.

I am Yill, a first-generation Latina, a maker by night, and the founder of this brand. My cavapoo Kobe has been my quality control partner from the beginning. Kiwi, my rescued Maltese, joined us after being found injured and abandoned, and reminded me all over again why clean, safe ingredients in every home matter.

Great gift idea!

I purchased the car diffuser originally at a craft show. Santa Claus needed ideas for my daughter's (20 years old) stocking. She LOVED them! So much so that I purchased 2 more sets - the diffuser and refill. Once I told my daughter I had ordered them, she has already asked me to purchase more to give as gifts to her best friends at Christmas. The set comes so cutely packed in a nice gift box with the stuffing already provided. Honestly, you just need a bow and your gift is complete. I highly recommend this purchase for anyone on your list. Yill is extremely helpful and kind and will answer any questions or concerns you may have. Also, don't forget to get the refill, saves you money in the end!!!
